Hood River, Oregon
The waterfront
and the river
The Columbia is a mile wide here, and the wind never quite stops.
Start the conversation →Five minutes from the center, and there’s always something to watch.
The windsurfers and kiteboarders are out most afternoons, cutting sideways across the current — worth watching even if trying it yourself has never once crossed your mind.
Waterfront Park
A flat, paved path right on the river, benches every so often, Mount Adams standing across the water in Washington. It’s where a fair number of clients end up in the days around a session — not because we send them, just because it’s close and the river keeps moving.
Nichols Boat Basin
Just west and quieter. Fewer sailors, more herons. If you’d rather sit somewhere and talk to no one, that’s the spot.
Session day itself happens here at the center — one room, one facilitator, the door closed. The river is for the hours on either side. Curious how the timing of a visit usually works? Start the conversation, or read how sessions are structured, start to finish.
