Hood River, Oregon
The forest trails above town
Where the orchards give way to the Gorge, and the walking starts a few minutes from downtown.
Start the conversation →This isn’t a hiking trip though it can be. These are strolls, timed to wherever you are that day.
Some clients walk before a session, to settle in. Others go after, once the day is behind them and they’d rather be outside than inside.
Indian Creek Trail
The closest one — an easy out-and-back through second-growth forest along the creek, about ten minutes from the center. Give it half an hour or give it two. Either is right — and there are benches along the way for rest and reflection.
The Twin Tunnels
Paved and flat, running along the old Historic Columbia River Highway east of town, opening onto the Gorge every quarter mile. Bring a layer even in summer and be aware of the bikes that frequent this path.
Waterfront Trail
A popular favorite for both facilitators and clients – stroll along the waterfront on the paved path, feeling the wind and watching the kiteboarders and wingers.
No one from Vital Reset will ask where you went. The trail keeps either way.
Looking for a waterfall rather than a walk? Wahclella Falls is a short drive west, and it’s on our list of favorite places. More on how the day itself works is on Sessions. Questions about timing, or the trip? Start the conversation.
