$2,800. That’s what a session costs at Vital Reset, and that’s the whole number — the Service Center fee, your facilitator’s fee, and the psilocybin itself. No tiers, no add-ons, no different answer once you’re on the phone.

We publish it because you shouldn’t have to book a call to find out what something costs. But a single number doesn’t tell you much on its own, so here’s what’s behind it and how it compares to the rest of Oregon.

What the price covers

That one number carries you through the whole arc, not just the day you take psilocybin. It covers your screening, two preparation sessions with your facilitator, the session day itself, and two integration sessions in the weeks after — the same facilitator from the first phone call to the last conversation.

If you take prescription medication, the price also includes a screening with our Clinical Director, who knows how psilocybin behaves alongside what you’re already taking. Safety is built into the price here, not added to it. How that compares across Oregon

Prices vary widely. A single session in Oregon can run anywhere from about $850 to $3,000, and some centers offer multi-day programs that run $5,000 or more. The spread is real, but so is what’s inside it.

That range isn’t just our estimate. A July 2026 Oregon Capital Chronicle investigation into the program’s licensing costs found the same spread statewide — individual sessions running $850 to $3,000 — while also reporting that roughly half of Oregon’s licensed service centers have already closed or let their licenses lapse. That context matters: a center’s price has to cover real costs, and the ones quoting far below this range are often missing pieces you’ll pay for later, or won’t be there in a year.

A low quote often covers only part of the fee. The psilocybin and the service center fee often bill separately from the facilitator, sometimes in cash on the day — a lot of moving parts before you’ve even gotten to integration. Throw in additional costs for integration sessions and by the time you’ve added it all up, the cheap option can cost more than the published one — and you’ve spent the run-up doing math instead of preparing. An all-in number exists so you know the real figure before you commit to anything.

What you’re actually paying for

It’s fair to ask why a session costs what a small vacation does. The short answer is that most of the price is people and time, not the psilocybin. You’re paying for a facilitator’s hours across a month — two preparation sessions, the long session day, two integration conversations following the journey. You’re also paying to have our Clinical Director — a Registered Nurse — reviewing your medications before every journey. And you’re paying for a licensed Service Center held to state inspections, and for tested, regulated psilocybin.

The mushroom is the cheapest part. The care around it is the product.

That’s also why the cheapest option isn’t always the kindest one. Premium pricing, done honestly, funds premium screening and supervision. The number should buy you safety, not just a room.

What about insurance

Traditional insurance doesn’t cover psilocybin services in Oregon yet. The program sits outside the medical insurance system, so plan on paying directly. Some people are able to use HSA funds; check with your own administrator, since the rules differ from plan to plan.

Why we publish the number

You’re deciding whether to do something serious. The price shouldn’t be part of the suspense, and it shouldn’t change once you’re emotionally invested in a call. Publishing it is the simplest honesty test a center can pass. If a center won’t tell you the cost until you’re on the phone, that itself is information.
