Meet Our Team

Heidi Venture, co-founder of Vital Reset in Hood River, Oregon, inspired by her personal healing from Treatment Resistant Depression through psilocybin Oregon experiences and safe psilocybin treatment.

Co-owner of Vital Reset, Heidi transformed her own life through psilocybin experiences.

She used psychedelics in high school, then led a clean and sober life for many years. That life was, unfortunately, impacted by Treatment Resistant Depression. Decades of pharmaceutical drug use failed to alleviate her depression.

A series of small dose journeys, followed by one heroic dose journey in March of 2020 completely relieved her depression.

Drawing from her personal triumph over treatment-resistant depression, she compassionately guides others toward their own healing.

For clients, Heidi creates a safe, legal, comfortable space. She serves as more than a facilitator, she is a steadfast companion, offering empathetic support on your journey toward self-healing.

John Nelson, co-founder of Vital Reset in Oregon, whose journey wooing Heidi led to renewed purpose and support for magic mushroom treatment and legal psychedelics.

John Nelson, co-owner of Vital Reset, and partner to Heidi Venture, used psychedelics in the 1960’s.

One day, walking through Powell’s Books in Portland, Michael Pollan’s book, How to Change Your Life, fell off the shelf in front of him. He took it home, read it, and resolved to re-enter the world of psychedelics.

Soon after, he and Heidi met online and started learning about psilocybin mushrooms. As their friendship with the mushrooms grew, so did their attachment to each other.

John was the trip sitter for the journey that ended Heidi’s depression in March of 2020.

Becoming part of the first legal, regulated, safe, and accessible psychedelic industry in Oregon was an opportunity he couldn’t pass by.

Jim Yue, brings warmth, knowledge, and a grounded presence to our client's psilocybin experience, here at Vital Reset, Hood River. He supports the benefits of legal psychedelic therapy through safe and guided magic mushroom trips (or journeys), and is honored to help others find hope and clarity on their healing path with the Oregon psilocybin program.

Jim comes to us with a wide variety of experience, from working in healthcare, to sales and marketing for organic/natural CPG (consumer packaged goods) for such retailers as Whole Foods Market and Natural Grocers.  He has also led a colorful career as a chef and culinary instructor as well as in cannabis as a manufacturer and retailer and many years as a professional performer in film and stage.

His relationship with the mushrooms, (like his signature moustache), just keeps growing, and is profoundly honored and amazed at the incredible changes he’s seen in our clients, as well as his own personal experience with helping him overcome addiction.

Jim enjoys acting in local theater groups and catering for clients such as Dionne Warwick and Pink Martini with his wife and partner Anastasia.
