Cost may be an important factor to you. But first, we want you to think about the value you could receive for this service. Many of our clients have said that this experience was, “the most important thing I’ve ever done for myself.” Think about your goal in having a psilocybin experience. Our goal at Vital Reset is to do everything possible to ensure you get the results you want and need.
Your psilocybin experience has three separate costs that add up to $2,000-$3,400:
1) Mushrooms
$100-$250 cash for the mushrooms on the day of your journey, depending on the dose you and your facilitator choose.
Facilitation Services
Depending on facilitator, $1,000-$2,200 cash, check, or card. This is for your facilitator, separate from Vital Reset and includes preparation sessions, the entire day of your journey, and at least one integration session afterward. Many of our facilitators are open to offering a discount if your situation requires one.
3) Facility
$995 check, cash, or card for Vital Reset, which covers legal requirements, a staff person on site, a backup facilitator, and use of the facility. We currently don’t require a deposit for scheduling a journey.
Sliding Scale
In an ideal world, psilocybin would be readily available to everyone who needs and wants it and can benefit.
The Psilocybin Access Fund (PAF), offered by the Sheri Eckert Foundation, helps those in need of healing overcome financial barriers to psilocybin therapy within the Oregon state regulated model. They give funds to individuals from underserved communities who couldn’t otherwise afford this treatment, expanding access and healing opportunities. The PAF scholarship grant can offer up to $1500 to the recipient (aged 21 or over) to help cover the costs of the facilitator and service center. Low cost or free mushrooms are available for PAF recipients.
Vital Reset Sliding Scale
We offer a sliding scale based on income and travel for clients who require a discount:
If you are financially able to travel for pleasure outside of your area, you are at the top of the sliding scale and will not need a discount.
If you are not on public assistance, but struggle to afford to travel outside of your area, you can request a half-price discount on the Facility Fee, and we can help you ask for a discount from a Facilitator.
If you are on Food Stamps or Public Assistance, you may qualify for one of a limited number of very low cost journeys. Vital Reset waives the Facility Fee for up to three journeys per month. The client must pay for the mushrooms in full to be compliant with state law. This amount will be $60-$250. All of our facilitators offer a number of sliding scale, no or low cost journeys each year.
