Legal, Compassionate Support in Oregon

Facing the end of life—whether due to terminal illness, aging, or serious diagnosis—can stir fear, grief, and a deep sense of the unknown. Even people who feel spiritually grounded may experience moments of panic, regret, or emotional pain.

At Vital Reset, we offer legal, supported psilocybin experiences for people navigating end-of-life concerns or living with chronic illness. Psilocybin won’t change the course of your condition—but it may change your relationship to it.

Clients often describe these experiences as comforting, clarifying, or even beautiful. For many, it offers peace where there was fear.

Why Psilocybin?

Psilocybin is a natural compound found in certain mushrooms. In legal, supported settings, it has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression, increase quality of life, and help people find peace in the face of death.

It may help by:

  • Reducing fear, panic, or resistance related to death

  • Providing spiritual insight or a sense of connection

  • Supporting forgiveness, resolution, or closure

  • Helping people make meaning of their lives and legacies

  • Offering emotional comfort and deep calm

Scientific Research

Participants in studies consistently reported lasting reductions in death anxiety, as well as increased life satisfaction and spiritual well-being—even months after a single experience.

What to Expect at Vital Reset

We meet each person with care, gentleness, and respect. You do not need to be part of hospice or have a formal terminal diagnosis to receive services.

Our process includes:

Step 1: Free Consultation

A 15–30 minute call to explore your situation and whether psilocybin might be appropriate and supportive.

Step 2: Preparation

Your facilitator will meet with you one-on-one to understand your goals, establish emotional safety, and prepare you for the experience.

Step 3: Psilocybin Experience

Your session takes place in a private room at our center in Hood River. Your facilitator remains with you throughout to ensure comfort and support.

Step 4: Integration

We meet again to help you process the experience and explore how it may support you, your loved ones, and the time ahead.

A Client Perspective

“After my diagnosis, I felt fear all the time. Psilocybin helped me connect with something much bigger than that fear. I’m still scared sometimes—but I’m not stuck in it anymore.”

Finding Peace Without Fixing Everything

Psilocybin doesn’t erase grief or cure disease. But for many people, it opens a space of deep clarity—where fear softens and connection deepens.

If you or someone you love is facing the unknown, you don’t have to do it alone.
